Happy Friday lovelies! I hope you’ve all had the best week. As for me, I can honestly say that life has been going pretty smooth lately *knocks on wood*. Something I’ve been especially passionate about is individuality. If you follow me on instagram, you might know that I had a pretty rough few months and experienced some minor post-grad depression. I was stuck in a state of not knowing what I was going to do next– should I follow my dreams or get a “real job” and be traditional?

And with that came the question of who I am, and who I want to be. As that stage of my life has come to a close (for now), I realize that the only person I want to be– know how to be– is me. I stopped caring about what people thought– about me, my passions, my opinions, and my dreams, and decided to fully embrace myself; completely and unapologetically. I decided that no, I’m not traditional, but that’s okay.

Sometimes we get caught up in this idea that we should be who society wants us to be when in reality, all that’s required of us, is to be ourselves.

That’s why I resonated with Milly Bobby Brown’s new Pandora “Me” Collection; because it’s all about embracing your individuality. Each charm represents something about yourself, and for me, the bracelet reminds me that there’s no one else like me. Every single person who buys this bracelet will be different. And while the basis of the piece– the links– are the same, the charms are what make them unique; like us.

I had the best time at the Pandora Piecing party that I attended, and met some amazing people. And while the pink decorations, and Pandora labeled water bottles were stunning, what struck me the most were the employees.

Walking in stumbling and self-conscious (this was my first official event as an “influencer”) I nervously made conversation with each employee that greeted me, and that’s when I realized they embodied everything that the collection represents; they all had their own stories. Each of them different ages and ethnicities, stories floated around about who they were, why they were there, and what they were trying to accomplish in life.

And while I was initially feeling insecure, upon walking out, I realized that all I needed to be, was myself.

The Milly Bobby Brown bracelet is even more stunning in person. It’s delicate and unique form makes the perfect accessory. And while I’m generally not much of a silver person, I’m definitely going to make wearing it a daily thing.

With love,
